The BlowBacks

High energy, horn-driven dance music!

The BlowBacks are a horn-driven dance band with a huge repertoire, spanning the 1940’s to the 2000’s. We play classic rock, Motown, big band, neo swing, jazz, lounge, funk, and country swing-we love playing a little something for everyone! We have a full horn line (sax, trombone, trumpet), drums, keyboard, guitar, and bass, as well as two dynamic vocalists. 
 

The BlowBacks were originally formed by our dear friend, legendary Amador County saxophonist Barry Duncan. You might remember some of us from Blow Daddy, and maybe even Mr. Pinstripe! 

The musicians in The BlowBacks and The BabyBacks are seasoned professionals, all from either Amador or Calaveras County. We are fun, talented, reliable, and no-drama, and we’re totally committed to providing exciting, high quality live entertainment in and around the Central Valley, Sacramento, and the Mother Lode.
